Matt Menard says he’s taking the under again on Serena Deeb finishing this match is under 3-minutes. I gave him a shout out last time for hitting his mark last time with 2 seconds to spare.
Deeb & Meyers exchange standing holds until Serena takes Meyers off her feet and commits an illegal hold locking Megan’s legs up and grabbing her by the mouth. Meyers comes back with some strikes but Deeb shuts it down leading to a series of chops on Meyers in the corner. Deeb the puts her attention on her opponent’s legs, she takes her down with a swinging neck breaker and then finishes her off with the Serenity in… checks stopwatch app… 2:57 (and this is backed up by CageMatch)! So Menard is right again!
I’m not sure if there’s a current direction per se for Serena Deeb or if they’re just keeping her strong on the back burner for now. I really hope they introduce her into a program soon though. I feel like the was more that could be done with her and Mercedes Martinez and I also liked the standoff she had with Ruby Soho in a recent Trios match on Dark Elevation.

Note: Just because I give a match a low rating doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it for what it was nor is it necessarily a commentary on the competitors. Not all matches are meant to be 3-to-5 star matches.
