Penelope Ford taking on Alice Crowley on Dark. Alice had a fair size advantage over Penelope for what it’s worth (likely not much, given the format of Dark) but it’s always a chance to see what she can do and what Penelope is working on.
A lockup to start the match, Penelope overpowers Crowley. They lockup again, Crowley arm drags Ford a couple times then hits a rope assisted arm drag. Penelope comes back in, clotheslines Crowley then kicks her on the mat showing aggression. She chokes Crowley on the mat for a 4-count. Crowley retreats to the corner where Ford chokes her with her foot before stomping her.
Penelope puts Crowley onto the middle rope and shotgun dropkicks her in the back. Sends Alice to the corner and hits a handspring back elbow then a high boot to the face. Before bringing Crowley to the center of the ring and locking in the Indian Death Lock with a bridge to choke Crowley for the win.
Besides the ample amount of camera cuts to Kip Sabian with a box on his head in the front row, there wasn’t much of a theme or story to this match. Just Penelope being aggressive and being better. There’s been far better Penelope Ford matches, even since she’s returned.
