So it would seem that the “Beasts of Burden” moniker is well dead. I don’t think it’s been brought up since Vickie’s promo. Madison Rayne and Queen Aminata both come out wearing crowns. They just need to form a Trios team with Emi Sakura.
Rayne and Shafir open the match which mostly goes Madison’s way until Vickie Guerrero gets on the apron and yells. Shafir gets a high kick in on Rayne and tags in Nyla as they take turns.
Queen Aminata eventually gets tagged in. She hits Nyla with a couple great looking elbow strikes but Rose powers through. Her’s and Marina’s superior tag team chemistry comes back into play as they isolate Queen. She’s able to make the tag though after raising her knees on a Nyla Rose splash attempt.
Madison gets tagged in and goes for a Pendulum DDT but Nyla blocks it. She then goes for a Crucifix Bomb but again, Nyla blocks it. Madison then turns it into a roll up attempt but Nyla blocks that too. Finally Nyla drags Rayne to the corner, tags in Marina and this time they hit their assisted DDT perfectly. Shafir goes for the pin while Nyla spears Queen Aminata through the ropes.
This tag team has really come together. But what for? Why be a dominant tag team in AEW when there’s no Women’s Tag Team Titles? Hmmmm…
