This is Allie Recks’ AEW debut. The New Jersey native is a 7-year veteran in wrestling with 110 matches, which isn’t a lot but I think we forget how much of a bite the pandemic has taken out of the Indies. She has a background in cheerleading (maybe we’ll see her face Julia Hart at some point).
Recks hits a handspring clothesline in the corner early into the match. Kiera returns with a high kick which Recks ducks but then Kiera comes back with a back heel kick and a shotgun dropkick in the corner. Hogan hits a few running attacks in the corner, then a step-up leg drop and a roundhouse kick to the back of Allie’s head for the win.
It’s hard to gleam much of anything from this match. No real story, not really any chain wrestling or anything. Just run, strike, run, strike, strike done.
