Ok, we’re getting our 2nd look at Kayla Rossi who in her last time out looked surprisingly great which actually says a lot as that was her debut and she was facing Avery Breaux who only has about a dozen matches under her belt. In facing a real pro like Vipress (5 years, 98 matches) this should be even better…
Kayla Rossi is accompanied by the Diamond Sheik who I had to educated about.
Lockup and Kyla just shoves Vipress to her corner. Superfluous (but still very cool) front handspring towards Vipress in the corner to confront her. Kayla is so built that run of the mill moves like a knee in the corner and a body slam look extra effective.
Vipress makes an attempt at a comeback but Kayla flattens her with a clothesline. She follows that with a Somoan Drop and an effortless kip up, followed by a standing moonsault for the win. Good lord. Yes, it only feels like half a match when it’s just Kayla walking around destroying someone and barely selling but her athleticism, power, and look… I’m excited to watch her develop in AEW.
