Another Dark, another Julia Hart match. I’m not complaining as each week I feel like we see one more thing added or improved upon but I do sometimes worry I’m going to run out of things to say, lol.
So we start with Julia Hart’s star down once again. She dodges a couple grapple attempts but as far as actually making contact it’s a full 40 seconds. Not sure why I like to track this so much, lol. Julia lays some hard knees into Kate’s face in what looks like a new move to her repertoire.
Kate ducks a high kick and then returns with a hard kick of her own on Julia knocking her down and then puts Julia in a headlock. Julia powers out and then ground and pounds Missa Kate with a closed fist to which referee Aubrey must pull Julia off. Julia does not look thrilled about being admonished.
Kate comes back with some elbow strikes. She goes up top but Hart sweeps out the leg then throws Missa head first into the turnbuckle. Julia then flies in from behind and lariats Missa Kate in the back of the neck knocking her face first into the middle rope which actually looks particularly brutal. Props to Taz for really putting over the danger of the steel cable “ropes”. This sets up Missa Kate for Julia Hart to sink in the Hartless Lock for the “W”.
So after my fretting about not having anything to write about, Julia Hart provides. She keeps improving incrementally. Both her in-ring and the act. Missa Kate looked every bit a solid worker in this match too. Good Julia Hart Dark match.
